today’s book: Somehow, This Christmas
It may not be winter yet, but it’s time for our annual blog series spotlighting (over 60 this year) new and recently-released Christmas reads! This is our largest year yet, with the most authors & books, and we’re back with an all-new look, too.
Christmas is still 37 days away, though, so… snuggle in, grab your fave hot beverage and comfiest blanket, turn on some Christmas tunes and start your bookish Christmas list! Oh… and did I mention there are GIVEAWAYS with EACH POST in this series??!! (Because authors are awesome!)
Today’s first featured book first appeared in the Something Borrowed: Christmas Weddings Collection, and author Teresa Tysinger shares her inspiration board for the story!

What do you picture when you think about Christmas? How about Christmas romance? To me, visions of twinkle lights, old decorations attached to memories, baking family recipes, and small-town coziness spring to mind.
That’s why I absolutely adored putting together the inspiration board for my Christmas novella Somehow, This Christmas! This sweet romance is set in the fictional town of Laurel Cove, North Carolina tucked in the Blue Ridge Mountains. It’s a place where everyone knows and cares for each other, festivals mark every holiday on the calendar, and Christmas is downright magical.
Below is a sample from my Pinterest board for Cate and Noah’s story, where I keep all of my inspirational ideas to reference while writing. I hope you love getting into the Christmas spirit glancing at these romantic and cozy photos. Check out the rest of the Somehow, This Christmas Pinterest Board!
