Happy Tuesday! Today’s theme for Top Ten Tuesday is a freebie so I thought I’d share some of my recent fave marriage of convenience stories! This is hands-down one of my very favorite tropes in a romance, and when I know a book features a marriage of convenience it’s automatically on my radar. It doesn’t matter to me if it’s historical, contemporary, or romantic suspense – I’m there for it. Come to think of it, though, I could use some good romantic suspense marriage of convenience stories in case any authors are looking for some ideas đ

What about you? Have you found any fave marriage of convenience stories lately? Have you read any of mine? What makes a good marriage of convenience read for you?
I just recently read a book in this category, and it was really good. (Wish I could remember the title.) It made think I should give more a try. I’m going to have to keep these in mind.
The only one I read from your books is an unlikely proposal I have read more convenient marriage books but don’t remember what the titles are they are probably love inspired books
maybe so đ
Iâve read The Mistletoe Countess, The Mozart Code, A Bride Of Convenience, The Indebted Earl, More Than Words Can Say, The Land Beneath Us. And I donât know how I skipped it but I have An Uncommon Courtship which I must read and In Search of A Prince and 5he two Mimi Matthews books are waiting for me! I might even have Rachel McMillanâs on my kindle. They were all great!
you’ve got some great ones on your TBR!
I hadnât heard of any of these books, but Iâm glad you like them so much! đ

Romantic suspense â Under A Turquoise Sky by Lisa Carter. They pretend to be married. Does that count?
ooo i’ll count it đ
What a fun list. I love stories like this. I’ve never read a book in this category, but I’ve seen plenty of Hallmark movies. I’ll have to check someone of these out. đ
My TTT
i hope you get a chance to read some of them đ
I have read quite a few of these. An Uncommon Courtship by Kristi Hunter is one of my absolute favorites, which means I have read it more than once. The conversations in that story between the brothers is so funny. Sarah Sundin’s book was my favorite of hers until When Twilight Breaks came along. And Jody Hedlund and Rachel McMillan? Epic!
I love how Kristi writes brothers đ
I love this list! A recent one that I read and loved is Emma St. Clair’s The Buy-In, I HIGHLY recommend it!!!
ooo yay! I’ll add it to my TBR list – thanks đ
Iâve read two of these. They all look good.
yay!
I loved the Mistletoe Countess and have read Karen’s More Than Words Can Say, which was terrific. This Christmas I read Mimi Matthews, A Holiday By Gaslight, a very good read as well. I’m looking forward to reading Erica Vetsch’s series. Thank you for the list!
you’ve read some great ones! đ
Nice, unique take on the subject. The marriage-of-convenience trope is not my favorite, but I am interested in the Hedlund series. In fact, the first one is on my list today! Great minds think alike đ
Happy TTT (on a Wednesday)!
