It’s always a delight to have author Teresa Tysinger on the blog, and today she’s here to talk about the hero of her new Laurel Cove Romance, Say It’s For Good! Happy release day, Teresa! I’ve loved each book in this series, and while I’m said to say goodbye to Laurel Cove I’m very excited that we get Jasper’s story!

SAY IT’S FOR GOOD by Teresa Tysinger
SERIES:
Laurel Cove Romance #4

PUBLISHER: Good Day Publishing
RELEASE DATE: February 22, 2022

Is a decade enough time to heal old wounds?

Professional chef Leah Spencer is level-headed, responsible, and practical—making it an easy decision to move home to Laurel Cove, North Carolina to care for her ailing father. All he wants is for his only child to find love and partnership like he had with his late wife—before he leaves her all alone. Desperate to ease his worries, as well as her own, she breaks character and creates a fake relationship with the one man in town who likely wants nothing to do with her. And the one man she’s ever truly loved.

Ladies’ man Jasper Bowdon has successfully avoided commitment ever since his heart was broken a decade ago. Casual dating, however, had grown tiresome and he’d recently decided to take a break from women to finally figure out what he really wants. Why, then, does he agree to a pretend relationship with the very woman who’d ruined him in the first place? And why is he left wondering if it could all be part of God’s plan to heal them both?

Love and friendship get a second chance in this final installment of the Laurel Cove Romance Series. Books in this series are stand-alone and can be read and enjoyed in any order.

Character Spotlight: Jasper Bowdon

by Teresa Tysinger, author of Say It’s For Good

I first introduced readers to the cutie pie Bowdon brothers in Someplace Familiar, with Jack. He’s charming and sweet and strong. Now, with the final Laurel Cove Romance Series novel, Say It’s For Good, we get to know Jack’s younger brother Jasper. He shares a good heart and handsome looks with Jack, but he’s definitely a swoon-worthy hero all in his own right.

Jasper is proud co-owner of Bowdon’s Supplies, a hardware and feed store the brothers inherited from their father that sits on Main Street in Laurel Cove, North Carolina. He’s tall and thin with broad shoulders and big, yet gentle, hands. The little bit of scruff he keeps during the winter gives him a ruggedness that fits in well to mountain life.

After getting his heart broken by childhood friend and high school sweetheart, Leah, Jasper protected his heart by only dating casually. An honorable gentleman, he loves women—but after about a decade of keeping them at arm’s length, he starts to wonder if he’s finally ready for more. Just in time for Leah to show back up! (Pick up Say It’s For Good to read how things play out!)

Here’s a few more get-to-know-you facts about Jasper:

  • He loves 80s/90s rock music
  • He’ll do anything for the folks of Laurel Cove
  • Sarcasm is often his weapon of choice
  • He serves as an usher/greeter at church
  • He loves being an uncle to Jack’s daughter, Audria
  • Bible study night with his buddies is a highlight of his week
  • Like his brother, he’s mastered the art of sweet flirting

Get to know Jasper even more, as well as Leah and the other characters in Say It’s For Good, today!
