Top Ten Tuesday: Some More Fave Friends To More Romances

Posted March 8, 2022 by meezcarrie in Christian, contemporary, historical, romance, Top Ten Tuesday / 20 Comments

Happy Tuesday! Today’s theme for Top Ten Tuesday is books with our favorite trope. Since I did fave marriage-of-convenience romances not too long ago, I decided to do one of my other most favorite romance tropes: Friends to More romances have a soft spot in my heart because it’s my own love story. I married my best friend – in fact, we started dating (after insisting we never would) 23 years ago today – and because of that one of my fave quotes has long been ‘Love is friendship set on fire’. I hope you get a chance to enjoy some more of my fave friends to more romances and these characters whose friendships are set on fire by falling in love.

I’ve read so many of these. Does that mean it’s one of my favorite tropes? lol.

The only one on your list that I have read is an unlikely proposal the others look like great books I need to check out. Also my mom knew she was going to marry my dad in the 8th grade and now they have been married for 27 years I am almost 24 and never have dated so I’m still single but an aunt to 2 nieces and 2 nephews.

Thanks so much for including The Breakup Project. It’s such a good trope isn’t it? You really get the sense these relationships will last.
