Joy comes in the morning

I knew following Jesus wouldn’t always be filled with sunshine. I knew I would have to go through stuff to grow through stuff. On cloudy days I knew I was going to have to lean more on Him and less on my own understanding when things didn’t make sense. I knew that pain was going to take place, that I was going to be hurt. But I also knew joy comes in the morning. Everything I’ve gone through made me understand that God wasn’t done with me just yet. He’s already written my story, and it matters because I matter. The beautiful and broken parts of my story make me who I am. None of it is to make me ashamed, but more thankful that I serve a God who heals, restores, and brings things back to life. So, I encourage you to share your story, don’t be ashamed. Your story might be someone else’s encouragement and hope they needed. To know that they too can overcome whatever chapter in their story because
each page matters. Just like you matter.
