Happy Tuesday! Today’s theme for Top Ten Tuesday is ‘favorite words’, so I decided to add an element and talk about my favorite words to see in book titles. These are the words that will snag my attention on first sight and have me adding the book to my wishlist right then and there. They are like the title version of a warm brownie to me – impossible to resist. And let’s be honest – even if these words are just in the book blurb or the series title, I’m there for it.

I’m sensing a theme here…. Alaska, Christmas, mistletoe, mountain, snow … even cold case fits the theme haha. What can I say? I love me some winter weather and all things Christmas. Oooo and what about titles with more than one element at at time? Like Christmas in Mistletoe Square? That makes me even happier!
What about you? What are some of your favorite words to see in book titles? Do we share any favorites?
Book was on my list among others
I went a slightly darker direction, LOL. Lies, deceit, and deception fit my October mood. Love your list!
haha! I love that!
Book, Town, skies, ocean
ooo town is another good one!
I love this twist on the topic! How fun!
thanks, Erin!
There are so many books out there about Alaska. I think it’s cool.

“Friend” always catches my eye, but I guess so does “Mail-Order”! I never would have known that without this post. Haha!
