Happy Tuesday! Today the theme for Top Ten Tuesday is a ‘thankful freebie’ so I decided to look at a bunch of books from the last five years with Thanksgiving scenes in them. For some of these titles, it’s a major part of the story. For others, a more minor role. But they all share the holiday as a common denominator in some way, shape or form.
What’s your favorite part of Thanksgiving? For me, it’s getting together with family but I’m not gonna lie – I also my cornbread dressing recipe & my family’s pumpkin pie. Do you have a fave Thanksgiving food?

I finished Honor’s Refuge by Hallee Bridgeman last night. It has a Thanksgiving not soon forgotten! Loved that the epilogue featured a more sedate and love-filled Thanksgiving. You have a great list!
Oh yay! I haven’t read that one yet but I’ve had my eye on it!
There are so many of my faves in here and ones I need to read!!
Yay!
Wow, you came up with a lot of answers. What a fun idea for a prompt.

thanks, Lydia!
I haven’t read any of these and I’m trying my best to think if I know any books with Thanksgiving scenes….
We don’t celebrate Thanksgiving here in SA, so it’s not all that big on my radar. But I will take a look at a few of your suggestions. Plenty to choose from!

A fun post for this week! I actually just finished a book with a Thanksgiving moment in it (Tempt by Melanie Harlow). I feel like there’s actually a lot of books with these moments. I know I’ve come across several throughout the years.
Love that there are some books with Thanksgiving scenes. Always feels like it’s the skipped over holiday. 🙂
Great list! I’ve only read one of these. The Amanda Flower series is super fun. I love it.
Happy TTT!

and I’ve already found some I forgot about lol. Thanks, Terrie!
Thanks for including Snow Angels!
I like Christmas books that start at Thanksgiving, just like our own celebrations. I start READING Christmas books much earlier than that, though. 🙂
me too 🙂
I’ve not heard of or read any of these. I’m not from the US, so I don’t celebrate Thanksgiving, and my knowledge of it largely comes from American TV shows (and I think I did a TTT post about my favourite Thanksgiving episodes of those a few years back).

Wow, that’s a lot of books! I know I’ve read books that mention Thanksgiving, but I don’t remember any actual scenes of it.
Thanks for including HIS CHRISTMAS WISH!
