Happy New Year’s Eve! As we all try to hurry up and read all those books we fully intended to read in 2022, how about we add some more to the pile for 2023?!? Music to a bookworm’s ears, am I right? 😉 Normally this post would be focused on the contemporary Early 2023 New Releases, with a new genre every day for a week. But this year, my goal is to provide more margin for myself to actually read and review more books AND to feature as many new releases as possible. So I’m changing up the format on these ‘coming soon’ posts in ways that hopefully will be better for me, for you, and for authors in the long run.
What’s changed?
For starters, I’m going to be giving an overview of all genres at once each quarter – same basic principle as I’ve always done but condensed into one post instead of doing six separate posts. Then, on the 1st of each month, I’ll be doing a more comprehensive look at the books I want to read that release that month. This will also let me include more independent/small press releases each month that aren’t always on Amazon yet when I’m putting the quarterly posts together. (And, Susan, maybe this will give your list-making hand a bit of a break haha)
You can also keep up with 2023’s new books as I learn about them by bookmarking the ‘2023 Releases‘ page on my blog menu & checking it periodically!
So, today you’re getting the bird’s eye view for Early 2023, so to speak. And then tomorrow you can celebrate the dawn of a new year with a look at the January 2023 New Releases I’m looking forward to reading. Sound good? Yay!
