Happy Friday & welcome to the First Line Friday link-up! It’s time to grab the book nearest to you and leave a comment with the first line. Today I’m featuring the first line of Appointment in Bath by Mimi Matthews. She is one of my very fave Victorian clean romance authors, and if you haven’t read her books yet you really need to!
and the first line is…
“Are you hurt?”

I read Gentleman Jim in this series and loved it. I need to go back and read the rest. I am reading Two to Tango by Kathleen Fuller. The first line is “Olivia Farnsworth always had a plan.”
yes! Such a good series
I got distracted by the lovely red hair on the model on the cover. Isn’t it stunning?
yes!!
First Line of Deadly Deceiver. “His captor hit him in the back with the cold steel muzzle of the Glock.”
S. A. Stacy’s second book is starting out as good as the first.
ooo i will have to check out those books!
The houseboat bobbed on choppy waters, little more than an inky shadow against the faintest shards of moonlight.
Wedding at Sea, Melissa Tagg
ahhhh i can’t wait to read this one!
That’s a first line that makes me want to know more! 🙂
right??
“Are you sure you won’t need a ride back?”
Molly Schultz forced herself to smile at her friend, Adele King.
HIDDEN AMISH TARGET by Dana R. Lynn
her books are always good!
I really like Mimi Matthews but haven’t read the previous titles in this series. I do have this one on my TBR though, because it sounds so good! Hope you’re enjoying it!
you can probably start with this one and then go back and read the others. I would start with the one just before this one though, if you can.
I hope you enjoy this one! Have a great weekend!
thanks, Cindy – you too 🙂
