National Dessert Day books

Happy Saturday! Today is National Dessert Day, so I thought it would be fun to do a post of books with dessert words in the title or desserts on the cover. This is a day I can definitely get behind as I love pie… and cake … and ice cream … and cupcakes … and cookies. (Ok, I also love a lot of fruit so it’s not all bad, right? LOL) What is your favorite, go-to dessert? And what is your favorite holiday dessert – you know, the kind you only get once or twice a year? Mine is pumpkin pie, but it’s a close tie with my family’s banana drop cookies too. Hmm… or The Glitz’s Grandma Snyder’s Christmas Cake. Ok, my mouth is watering. I should get to talking about books – pronto!

  1. Meezcarrie, your blog always sweetens my day! And especially today! I’m chuckling over these titles and covers. We just finished a week of dog-sitting an energetic Golden Lab, so the title that caught my attention was “Death by Chocolate Lab.” Pin down my favorite dessert? Whatever is in front of me! (and yes, I’m a donut girl, too)

I’ve never read a book about Amish people before. However, I liked the description and cover for the “Kappy King and the Pie Kaper”. It’s on sale at Christianbook’s website so I placed an order. Thanks for the suggestion!
