Books With Characters on Vacation

Happy Tuesday! Today’s theme for Top Ten Tuesday (hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl) is “Characters I’d Like to go on Vacation With” but I’m tweaking it just a little bit so I don’t have to choose between characters lol. The books on my list today all feature characters on vacation, and I wouldn’t mind tagging along with any/all of them. Every vacation is more fun with friends, after all, and book friends make the best vacation companions … even if you’re stuck at home with no getaway in sight.

The Austen Escape is one of my very favorites! And the Kara Isaac book too!! I have Pepper Basham’s on my tbr…not sure how I haven’t read those yet🤷‍♀️. And I’ll be adding Love Overboard, because a perpetual retirement cruise? Sign me up!

    What a fun topic!❤️

  2. My husband likes go-go-go vacations, explore and see it all. But as we’ve aged, our vacations are tamer (kind of). This summer we’ll spend one week on a beach in Florida with family (This is my time for sitting in the sand and reading.) Then we’ll spend many weeks camping as we drive to Alaska, counting 4,000 miles one way. We’ve done this looooong journey twice before, and it’s truly an adventure. This time, I insisted we NOT do it in a tent because of past bear encounters in the Yukon. SO. We have a small camper that fits on the pickup. Away we go! As for books, I confess I’ve not read books by Pepper Basham and her name is attached to great reviews everywhere. Her name is on my TBR

  3. The Austen Escape sounds like such a fun book. And I loved Basham’s Mistletoe Countess; I still need to read The Cairo Curse. Very fun TTT list. 😀 And thanks for visiting my blog earlier.

A Tourist’s Guide to Murder sounds fun! Sorry for the delay, WordPress threw your comment into spam for some reason.
