My Summer Reading List 2024 Top Ten Tuesday

Happy Tuesday! Today’s theme for Top Ten Tuesday (hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl) is my summer reading list for 2024. Last year, I got inspiration for this post from the fantastic summer reading program that my local library system had when I was growing up in northern Illinois. Instead of just giving us points/rewards for the number of books read, we had to read a certain amount of different types of books – like, Newbery Award winners, Caldecott winners, biographies, mysteries, plays, poems, etc. I was exposed to so many book genres and authors this way and found that I loved a lot of them. Since I had so much fun putting this twist on my summer reading list last year, I thought I’d do it the same way again! These are all books I’m scheduled to read & review through the end of August, not for any specific challenges, but if you are doing a reading challenge this summer maybe some of these categories will inspire you!

Note: These aren’t ALL the books I’m reading/reviewing this summer – just a selection 🙂
