Happy Friday! And welcome to First Line Fridays, hosted by Hoarding Books!!! Since it’s Friday, it’s time to grab the book nearest to you and leave a comment with the first line. I’m continuing my #CFRR2019 FLF series, spotlighting books from the authors who will be joining us for the […]
Happy Christmas Eve Eve!! Grab your favorite Christmas cookie and then the book nearest to you and leave a comment with the first line! The book I’m featuring today is Letters From Santa by Becca Whitham. And the first line is… “What did you say your name was again?” Here’s […]
Hi friends! It’s Tuesday, so that means another list of ten books but – I’m kidding no one at this point – there will be more than ten. Today’s theme involves the books we’ve loved that have under 2000 ratings on Goodreads. I must confess that when I saw […]
The delightfully sweet and funny Becca Whitham is chatting with me today, and I could not be happier! 🙂 Her latest novella “Cowboy Competition” is part of The Cowboy’s Bride Collection which released earlier this week from Barbour Publishing.
Jaime Jo Wright’s writing voice makes me smile, and the bits of humor she threaded through The Cowgirl’s Lasso made that smile even wider. From the dime novels to the spider attack – even the nod to pal Erica Vetsch’s The Legend of Obadiah Walker – you will find plenty of reasons to smile too!

As 2015 wound to a close this week, I have been talking about the books I’m most anticipating for the first half of 2016. Today, I’m finishing up with some miscellaneous-category books that I can’t wait to read!
I so enjoyed Letters from Santa! The characters, the writing, the story itself. All just top-quality fiction. If you are looking for a cozy historical Christmas read for tonight or tomorrow, your search is over!! Letters from Santa will be one of the few novellas on my favorites shelf for years to come.
You may have noticed there’s no author listed in the title of this post (as in “Review: The Homestead Brides Collection by…”). That’s because NINE authors contributed to this collection and, if there isn’t a word limit on titles yet, there would be after I’d included them all 🙂 Through nine historical romance […]
