Yeah. I hate Spring Daylight Savings Time. So I thought we could all use a bit of cheering up.
How about some free books? Or some great discounts?
(As always, please double check the price before you one-click!)

I’m a little late in getting to this post, but here is how my blog occupied itself during the month of February 2016 đ
Like a Love Song went straight for my heart. The characters, their histories, their futures, the setting, the plot. All of it spoke to me on a level that went beyond the romance and aimed steadfastly toward Jesus. Joe and Sue’s love story was, of course, a highlight of the book for me – it was cute, sweet, and even breath-stealing on occasion. But in all honesty, it paled in comparison to this truth that Camille Eide framed so gorgeously: God’s love never fails.
Dawn Crandall masterfully crafts a story rich in vibrant setting, vivid characters, and sharp dialogue. Her scenes come alive, transplanting readers into Gilded Age New England and keeping them absorbed from the first word until the last. The characters she creates feel real and honest, and boy howdy can she write a kissing scene!
And It Was Beautiful: Celebrating Life in the Midst of the Long Good-Bye (David C Cook, March 2016) “I was here. I saw beauty. I embraced it.” -Kara Tippetts How do you live out extravagant love in the everyday moments? How do you celebrate grace when your life turns out […]
In the mid sixteenth century, Henry VIII sits on the throne, and Bianca Goddard tends to the sick and suffering in Londonâs slums, where disease can take a life as quickly as murderâŠ
The Perfectly Proper Paranormal Museum is unique, well-written, and fun! The quirky museum, the array of likable characters, a curiously intuitive cat, and a ghost who may have been wrongly accused – these elements all give a creative twist to the usual cozy mystery formula.
Please ignore the last couple of administrative-type posts đ One of the joys of blog migration. However, that said, I would in fact LOVE for you to follow me on bloglovin’! or any of the other social media options in the sidebar!
Follow my blog with Bloglovin This week on Top Ten Tuesday, we are talking about characters. Â Technically the topic is about those characters that a) you alone dislike or b) you alone love. Â But I kinda did that already (last year), so I decided to talk instead about those secondary […]
I have so enjoyed this series, and I am sad to see it come to an end – but On Lone Star Trail gave it the perfect sendoff. Amanda Cabot included all of the elements that make the series so entertaining while adding a few new twists as well! (While this is the third book in the TEXAS CROSSROADS series, it’s not necessary to have read the other two first.)
North of Here is a story of contrasts and characters. Of two men. Of two women. Of those born into wealth but walking around poor in spirit. Of those personalities who are self-sufficient and of the ones who always seem to need a rescue.

Do you see me jumping up and down right now? Well, I am (and you should probably be glad you in fact can NOT see me as it’s not pretty.)
I am honored to be the final stop on The Thorn Keeper blog tour with Singing Librarian Books. I am excited to talk about this latest book by Pepper Basham. And I cannot WAIT to remind you all why it made my KissingBooks 101 Lesson 2 post.
The delightfully sweet and funny Becca Whitham is chatting with me today, and I could not be happier! đ Her latest novella “Cowboy Competition” is part of The Cowboy’s Bride Collection which released earlier this week from Barbour Publishing.
Now, y’all know me & you know that my values don’t exactly line up with a lot of Harlequin novels đ BUT there are several Harlequin imprints and authors that I do support. Plus, I thought this video was super cute, especially for those of us who tend to collect book boyfriends lol.
Spring in Snow Valley: A Snow Valley Anthology OperationâKiss the Girl, Cindy Roland Anderson Ivy Baker is doomed to marry a man she only pretends to be in love with to save the family ranch. Since she isnât marrying for love, Ivy secretly creates a kissing wish list composed […]
Jaime Jo Wright’s writing voice makes me smile, and the bits of humor she threaded through The Cowgirl’s Lasso made that smile even wider. From the dime novels to the spider attack – even the nod to pal Erica Vetsch’s The Legend of Obadiah Walker – you will find plenty of reasons to smile too!
Every time I open a book by MaryLu Tyndall (which sadly hasn’t been as often as I would like), I am swept away from word one. Caught up in the story and unable – not to mention, unwilling – to tear myself from it. Charity’s Cross held true to this reader-kidnapping, freezing me in place with the very first sentence: “Charity killed her husband.”
Dani Pettrey’s first offering in her new series is inventive, action-packed, and extremely well-written. Cold Shot bursts onto the scene with brilliant suspense and compelling characters that make it nearly impossible to put down. In fact, if you are at all prone to biting your nails when tensions are high, you may need to schedule a manicure once you’ve finished reading this novel!
This week’s Top Ten Tuesday topic (hosted as always by The Broke and the Bookish) is “books to read when you’re in the mood for ______”. I really enjoy these more open-ended themes because everyone’s posts have a greater chance of being tailored to their own personalities.
