WOW! Colleen Coble is one of my go-to romantic suspense authors for a reason! Between Mermaid Moon and The Inn at Ocean’s Edge (the first book in the Sunset Cove series), I have been spellbound for the past two days & on the edge of my seat from the suspense!

Review (plus a Giveaway!): The Suspect’s Daughter by Donna Hatch

Review (plus a Giveaway!): The Suspect’s Daughter by Donna Hatch

While The Suspect’s Daughter can easily be read as a stand-alone novel (I read this fourth book first and had no problems following along), the characters are much better appreciated when seen through the lens of the preceding books in the ROGUE HEARTS series. Donna Hatch graciously gave me copies of those first three books so I could catch up with all of Grant’s brothers. I’m going to do a mini-review for each one in a second, but let me just say about the whole series – WOW! Keep. Your. Fans. (and freezers) Nearby. All 4 books are a KissingBook Level 5

You may remember December 31st as New Year’s Eve.

I remember it with great fondness as “Pepper Day”.

I love the characters in Kate’s K-9 Trilogy! (And oh please tell me that Logan’s story is next!) When Love Matters Most focuses on Sergeant Rick “PitBull” Vasquez and veterinarian Madison Long, both of whom we met in the first K-9 book When The Right One Comes Along (which, incidentally, made my list of Best Books of 2015!

Top Ten Tuesday: New Year’s Resolutions

This week, we’re talking about resolutions and thankfully the topic was left open-ended. If it had just been book-exclusive, my post would have looked something like “Read. Read. Read. As usual.” So… this way will hopefully be more meaningful 🙂

As I normally review mainly Christian fiction, I don’t read a lot of general market contemporary romance. But when I do, it’s probably by Kristan Higgins. Or Robyn Carr. But we’re talking about Kristan Higgins today 🙂

Review: The Painter’s Daughter by Julie Klassen

With each new Julie Klassen book, my favorites list tends to get reshuffled. The Tutor’s Daughter is still firmly at the top of the pile but she has been given some healthy competition of late. Namely, The Secret of Pembrooke Park and Lady, Maybe… and now The Painter’s Daughter.
